Cat Rippon was born in Westcliff-on-Sea, England. In 1990 She emigrated to Australia and has lived here for 32 years, bringing up her family. As a child she always had an overactive imagination and this fueled her joy of writing.

Cat has published three books. Her latest book, The Buttercup, is the first of a Trilogy.
